  • Process transactions and send related confirmations

  • Monitor and analyse usage trends to improve the product

Data Security

We implement enterprise-grade technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All resume files and job descriptions are encrypted at rest and in transit. Our infrastructure undergoes regular security reviews.

Data Sharing & Third-Party Integrations

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our platform, and only to the minimum extent necessary to provide our services.

Third-party services we integrate with include:

  • Google Gemini AI — resume analysis and AI-powered matching (data processed per Google's DPA)
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure, file storage (S3), and email delivery (SES)
  • Gmail / Google Workspace — optional email integration for candidate communication
  • Microsoft Outlook / Office 365 — optional email integration for candidate communication
  • PayU — payment processing for subscription plans (card data never stored on our servers)
  • LinkedIn, Indeed, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, BambooHR, Slack, Zapier — optional job board and workflow integrations

All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements (DPAs) and are required to handle your data in compliance with applicable data protection laws including GDPR and India DPDPA 2023.

Candidate Data & DPDPA Consent

MejuHire processes candidate personal data (including resumes, contact details, and assessment results) on behalf of hiring organisations. In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA):

  • Candidate data is collected only with explicit consent at the point of application
  • Data is processed solely for recruitment purposes and not repurposed without fresh consent
  • Candidates may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data at any time
  • Hiring organisations act as Data Fiduciaries and are responsible for lawful processing
  • MejuHire acts as a Data Processor and processes data only on documented instructions

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and download your personal data
  • Correct or update inaccurate data
  • Request permanent deletion of your data and account
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyse site usage, and assist in our marketing efforts. You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the platform.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymised aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely.
